This musical representation also included dance recitals by the children accompanied by bhajans.

VBPS organized its first ever Annual Day Celebration 2013 on 12th February, 2013.- a grand celebration which saw the little stars twinkle on the grounds of the school.
The event opened with the lamp lighting ceremony by the guests of honour followed by the mesmerizing Indian Fusion Dance performed by the primary and middle school girls of the School.
CEO VBPS passionately presented the welcome address. School’s principal, read out the school’s annual report highlighting the prominent achievements of the school during this academic year in scholastic and co-scholastic areas and reiterated the importance of parental engagement in partnership with the school.
The cultural bonanza with 100% participation of students enthralled the parents. This was followed by a play by the primary and middle school children called, “Together we can” which enforced the importance of community work. During its course of storytelling there were also a few dance performances entailed in between like Jazz, Japanese Dance & Bhangra that left the audience spellbound at the students’ caliber and poise.
Appreciating the conducive learning environment and excellent infrastructure of the school Principal sir addressed the august gathering and motivated the parents for strengthening school home connections through close networking. He congratulated the students’ effort on putting up a grand show on their maiden annual celebration event.
The event concluded with vote of thanks rendered by school’s head girl & National Song sung by the school choir.
The children dabbled in a medley of activities from 21th May to 6th June ranging from Art, Craft & Clay modeling to kick boxing, taekwondo, basket ball, roller skating, dance , vocal and instrumental , computer animation to theatre and Public Speaking. A fine way of beating the sweltering summer heat!
On-going professional development is the key ingredient in the overall success of technology-driven education in classrooms. Training the teachers in technology and retraining them in delivering effective content with the help of that technology is a pre-requisite for effective teaching-learning in schools today.
